The Texas Workforce Commission is contracting with the Public Policy Research Institute at Texas A&M University (PPRI) to evaluate how the RESEA program is implemented in Texas.

The project details how the RESEA program is implemented and successes and challenges across Boards. We want to make recommendations on what best practices to scale across Texas.

To do so, we need local Board area help. We will be visiting each Board area to talk to those who know the program best. We also want to observe RESEA meetings and review relevant documentation. We will also be working with TWC to survey claimants, survey staff, and review data to make comparisons across Boards.
